About me

Hey! My name is Mandi.

I live with 3 dogs, and a ball python, a mini me, and a husband. I love to spend time baking, walking in the park, and doing my fairly recently acquired hobby of making metal stamped dog tags for fun.

Fresh out of high school I had dreams of becoming a photographer. I worked in a chain photo studio and even developed film and printed photos at a camera chain. My timing was not the best though, these were the days of film vs digital. Digital cameras were still terrible quality (you could actually buy a 1 megapixel camera) but I could see the shift was beginning. Not knowing what the future held for photography I decided to switch gears and went to dog grooming school. This way I could spend my days working with animals- one of my favorite things to do!

In a nutshell I’ve groomed a LOT of dogs over the years. I moved states a few times, I got married, got a dog or 3, opened a grooming shop, fell back in love with photography, and here we are.

So after all is said and done, photography was my boomerang. It came back around to me when the universe said that the time was right, and I love meeting people and their treasured pets.
